Whether it was Plankton trying to steal the secret Krabby patty formula, Spongebob and Patrick deciding to go alien hunting in Sandy's rocket, Or Spongebob singing the Campfire song, I have definitely seen more than my fair share of Spongebob episodes. And today I finally saw the movie, The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.

As the movie begins to unfold, we see Plankton who is at the moment using many different tools to try and once again get his hands on the Krabby patty secret formula. Using a penny, Plankton manages to ease his way into Mr. Krabs's safe and it would appear that Plankton has finally gotten what he has been so desperately trying to get. Spongebob manages to walk in just in the nick of time, and a tug of war ensues for possession of the formula until something mysterious happens to the formula. Things quickly go from bad to worse-and in the most unlikely of events, Spongebob and Plankton must team up in order to rescue the Krabby patty formula.

The original cast members consisting of: Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Bill Fagerbakke, Rodger Bumpass, Doug Lawrence, and Carolyn Lawrence voice Spongebob, Mr. Krabs, Patrick, Squidward, Plankton, and Sandy and provide the audience with laughs and succeed at reminding fans why the show is so popular in the first place. Antonio Banderas stars as Burger Beard a pirate who just so happens to have his own restaurant and does a nice job.

In terms of design, the animators also are successful at giving The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water its signature underwater look, but even the above water or(live-action) scenes play out very well. I do admire the story's themes and lesson about teamwork which I feel the story is an area The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water excels at. Not once did I get bored during the movie's duration; and The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water is a good movie due to the humor, the likable theme of the story, and the detail in the scenes (above and underwater). It may not be the best animated movie ever or a great movie, but The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water is: A Good Experience
